ProvenDocs can be accessed by phone or tablet but we strongly recommend using a desktop computer for a reliable user experience.

ProvenDocs is currently a website application, therefore it cannot be download.

You can use ProvenDocs for numerous needs. The list is endless. Here are some examples:

Information stored on the public Blockchain is immutable - it cannot be changed or deleted. By storing cryptographic signatures of the contents of your document on the Blockchain, we can prove that the document existed at a specific time and that you uploaded it.

A hash is a mathematical "signature" of a document - a digital finger print. The chances of two documents having the same hash are infinitesimally small, even if every computer in the world today generated hashes as fast as it could, it would still take many time longer than the lifetime of a universe to find a duplicate. In practice, hashes are far more precise proofs of identity than DNA or fingerprints.

Blockchain is a growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked using cryptography. Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data. By design, a blockchain is resistant to modification of the data.

All files stored in ProvenDocs are private. Only a cryptographic signature (hash) is stored on the public Blockchain and cannot be used to view your documents contents. Your documents are stored securely in the ProvenDocs database and cannot be viewed by anyone without your permission.
