Getting Started
This page will help you get started with ProvenDocs. You'll be up and running in a jiffy!
Signing up for an account
Signing up for the Compliance Vault is free and easy. Simply navigate to the ProvenDB signup page. and select an authentication provider (or email).

If you already have an account from another ProvenDB solution, you can simply log in to the Compliance Vault with those same credentials!
After logging in to your chosen provider and following the instructions, you should find yourself on the Compliance Vault dashboard.

Uploading your first file
From the dashboard, you can click any of the links to navigate to the documents interface or you can navigate using the sidebar.

Once in the documents interface, press the Upload button to open the new upload wizard.

From here you can drag and drop files into the window, or, select them in a file browser.

Once you're happy with your upload list, continue through the wizard, this will check for duplicate files, but you won't have any since this is your first upload. You can also add tags and comments to your upload for later reference.
Finally, submit your documents for upload! It may take a few minutes depending on the size of your files.
Once the upload is complete, you should see your files in the documents interface.
You can also click on your documents to see a detailed view of them.

Currently, your documents will be pending, meaning the cryptographic proof is still being created in the background. When complete, you will be able to view your documents proof certificate. This document contains the necessary information relating to your document proof. It explains the hashing algorithm and contains the full cryptographic proof associated with your document.
